I just dropped off the tacoma drive shaft to get resized and new joints. I locked it in 4x4 yesterday, reversed it on to the driveway and back in the garage to circulate ATF fluid. Oh I definitely would not buy a main harness over a few torn wires. I will start testing today. Per Lexus dealership protocol at this point I would have to throw away the Tacoma and buy a new GX460.

This is the only pic I have of the plug right now and those pins look off to me.

I fubar'd the main engine room harness on my old lexus and with how much shielded shit is in there, it made me nervous to repair it, also considering it was 14 hours of labor to change that wouldn't be warrantied if I repaired the harness. It was a scary experience, and a lesson learned the very hard way.

I dont imagine you fubar'd your harness, I reckon the connector is probably filthy. after you get it cleaned, might be worth it to fill it full of dielectric grease.

    Yeah.
Yeah, a couple look a bit smushed, but hard to tell. But just the fact that all the codes seem to be closely related points to a connector or wire issue. You'll figure it out.

Ok now that it's working correctly, we need to see a burnout. Just leave the front driveshaft off

Yes it is. It is a bit counter intuitive because it locks/plugs in the up position.

    Yeah.
It's awesome when it's the simple things. Chasing down crap with a multimeter is no fun at all. So close! Time to top off the transmission?

Yep just got done topping off the transmission. I had a very small trickle at 46.5 deg C with the engine running in P. And here's a few celebration revs for you guys.

This is the best sounding Taco I've heard. Good rumble, but like a gentleman's V8 vs obnoxiously loud.

This thing is sick, and I love how you beefed up / restored all the potential problem parts of the frame so it's more or less a new truck.
