2nd gen tacoma vs 03 - up 4runner

    I really love the 2nd gen tacoma but i really have been contemplating a 4x4 4runner. If i get a tacoma it is up in the air if I can afford a 4x4 dc but I know I can get a 4runner 4x4. How do these compare? I see there are several lifts for this and the a 4 runner has a 4.7l v8. I mainly need the 4 door but would like to have the ability to go off road with 4 wheel drive. HAs anyone made this swap over to a 4runner and what did you think?
