That is Bad Ass. Sorry, but I have no need for one, but I think your welds look pro and if I did need one, that would be it!

Beefed taco...have you thought of making a tire rack for the back bumper, outside to the right of the tailgate? Thats what I am thinking of. Non ratteling swing gate attached to the factory bumper or a new bumper resembling factory.

Where did you get the plastic + part that holds the wheel with the T handle? I found it once before but it's been a while I'd like to add a T handle to the one I built and lose the PITA bolts and shock bushings that I have on there.

My friend bought a 2nd gen 5 lug and it's really just a matter of getting his truck here so I can get a bumper, carrier, etc available. Not having a 2nd gen and only having a 1st gen makes it hard to get new items available.

    See my reply above.

99% of items I build get shipped and rarely do I get to see the outcome. Sorry.

    ORW, about $25.

I've seen that thread. I think you did a awesome job on the carrier. It's multifunctional, and you can say you built it. You don't need to have fancy bent tubes and such, any idea that you bring to life and works well for your needs is nice in my book. They come to life once they're painted and the goodies are all on. That's the thing with tire carriers, you only see 15% of them anyway when the tire is on. Great job.

If you want a solution to make your spare lay flat, just look into a Y-strap and some additional OEM D-Rings.
