    Will it worth it?

    I drive a 2013 Double Cab TRD Off-Road 4x4 with towing package, E-locker, A-Trac, etc etc etc

How it compares with the new 2016+ DC 4x4 TRD Off-Road? Does it worth it to trade-in mine and get a new one?
Besides the redesign and upgraded technology, does the crawl control and selectable terrain stuff really work? The 2013 do have "down hill assist" and it makes the car move so slow that is better to put in 1st or 2nd gear and not use it.

My most concern is the new 3.5L Atkinson cycle engine. They may have higher numbers for peak power and torque, but what about low RPM torque and low RPM throttle response? At low engine speeds, how does it feels regarding torque?

Don't want to blame on the new taco, but the old 4.0L is a proven motor. Those who have been on both, how those they compares 2013(15) with 2016+?

You should test drive one for yourself. Only you know your needs.

That said, third gen is worlds ahead in the interior. CRAWL control (My Land Cruiser has it), is AMAZING.

    I prefer the 4.0 > 3.5

Third gen with 2nd gen motor would be my perfect truck.

What is the third small skid plate on the 2nd gen offroad for? I picked up a set of three skids from a second gen and installed two of them on my 3rd, but couldnt figure out where the tiny one goes(top small shiny one)OedK4FR (1).jpg
