So my first set of stock wipers started coming apart after a few months. Dealer replaced at no cost and said they threw me a bone since they aren't covered by warranty. 2nd set is doing the same thing. I bought some better wipers but WTF? I have never had this problem with any other wiper

    all tore up already
Factory wipers are garbage. Get a good set of contour style blades. Personally i like the trico force PN#25220 and 25200. Pricey but they performed better than bosch icons and both "contour" and a series anco blades imo.

Maybe you need to put some kind of coating on the windshield, it may just have a rough surface.

Mine started streaking from the tip on the driver's side and broke apart after 4 months. broke starting from the tip and worked it's way down.

Oh well. spent $24 and change on a pair of trico beams. went 22 driver, 20 passenger. I think next time I'm going 21 on Driver and 20 on passenger. The arm doesn't seem to put enough pressure on the tip and bolts on the arm seem tight. The last bit of the tip on the beams still streak a little bit and drags. But it's been 3 or 4 months now and it streaks but hasn't torn yet. It just seems easier to go down 1 inch than try to sort the issue out right now. $24.00 to see when it rains so I don't wreck a 35k truck? not a bad deal.

all OEM's aren't bad though. We've had a car on OEM valeo's for 4.5 years now. I had to google who made the OEM's last year because I was surprised at how well they still wiped. The ones that came on our car is $37 for the pair. If they last 4+ years, even 2+ years, it'll be cheaper than the tricos in the long run. Damn things still wipe better than the new trico's without a streak or any noise (noise could be the type of windshield though?) If they had valeo at wally world i would have tried them. i coldn't beleive it was valeo. Never heard of them. First confused them for valero, but turns out valeo is french manufacturing firm?

i already picked up some Bosch replacements. I only brought it up because I don't think I ever had wipers fall apart after 2 months and the same thing happened to the second set.

The OEM Blades used to be really decent, they must have switch suppliers to China or something.

LOL, same here. Had the truck 5 months and they're like new. Even after the wet season since October.

13 months and I'm still on the stock wipers with no streaking. Midwest weather is the worst and Cincinnati is the armpit of America. I need to move.....
