9 drive Chinese pedal commander i ordered from Amazon, 70$ retail. Wow! Very impressed. Truck much more responsive, faster feeling, and more crisp instant throttle response

Found this while perusing the interwebs. Technically for our engine but not sure if it will actually work, nor was there any info I could find while searching TW about it. Just in case someone wants to go first: https://www.blackhawkjapan.com/products/blitz-10195. It's on ebay as well.

I'm very curious, but not 4K curious when I'm so deep down my turbo hole.

Looks like they use a clutch on the s/c pulley in lieu of a bypass valve. I wonder how that works. Cool kit for sure though, would be something nice to feed with a turbo

I know Mercedes used a clutch on one of their superchargers a few years back. I imagine it'll wear out eventually, like an a/c clutch does.

Has anyone ever had misfire codes after hitting the rev limiter on their MAPECU3? I had the p0300 and p0301-p0304 codes after running an F150 today. CEL came on but went away on it's own and was still driving normally. After purposely banging it off the limiter again, it did the same thing so i think they have to be related.

BTW i think the F150 was a 2.7L ecoboost.. He got a good jump on me off the line, but was able to drive around him after i shifted into 3rd. I don't think they saw that one coming :D

Also im not sure if this would be related but i have my AFR gauge hooked up and set up for Lean Boost Retard where it cuts timing if it sees an AFR leaner than 14:1 over 5lbs of boost. I am wondering if the stock ECU cuts fuel to limit the RPMs and that could be playing into this issue..

    A thing or two...
Are you using the IGF functionality of the MAPECU? The coils generate a feedback signal to the ECU, so it knows that the coil fired. With the boost gauge cutting the ign signal, the ECU isn't getting the feedback signal which throws the CEL. As part of the MAPECU launch control function, you can setup the MAPECU, so it generated the feedback signal. However, you'll lose the ability to see true misfires due to coil or plug issues. Even with the boost gauge cutting the ign, the MAPECU will give the ECU the feedback signal, so you won't see the misfire CEL.

No sir i am not, I checked and the 5th injector is on Switched output #1. That makes a lot of sense as to why the CEL would be triggered. I always wondered if the LBR i set up worked right and it sounds like this confirmed that.

I think i read something about that Launch control function on the MAPECU forum that you mentioned. Since the it's normal, I am okay with it honestly so i think i'll leave it alone. Thanks for all your help on this Jeremy :hattip:
