Hey if any of you have a chance could you take a picture of your fuse box and post it please? I am trying to find out what type of fuse I am missing or if it’s normal on my truck. It appears when stuff stopped working the P/O just pulled the fuses/relays

This is the fuse I was missing how ever this truck does not have the bed power outlet which is what that slot is for. So that makes sense that it’s MIA. I finally figured out where the wiring diagrams are in TIS :anonymous:

I think I got the same notification you did that prompted this question... and to answer the question, no I haven't. But I'm now thinking about it.

Pull a stud out of the header? I bet they are the same length.

I am not sure about the LS studs but I did use the lce arp header studs in my 2tr. I advise getting the tap, I didn’t and it was... painful. Also don’t use the included nuts to get the studs in. I used the two nuts from the intake manifold.

With the thread chaser, they go in freely by hand.

I found some in stock supposedly on jegs, so i went ahead and pulled the trigger. Worst case scenario i will use them on the v6. I'll keep yall posted if they work!

edit: just from doing some digging the toyota part numbers are different so this may be over before it begins. Either way, i will probably try to find some ARP hardware that will work if these dont

When these first "came to market" people were stripping the Allen heads on the studs. The '03-04 1GR head that I tested them on, they went in by hand. However, the '05+, then tolerances in the holes was much tighter. That is when we learned that a thread chaser was a must.

With the 5.29s what size tires are you on and is your truck a 5 speed? I have 5.29s coming and I’m afraid that with all the highway driving I do it’ll be like a bad idea lol but idk? How do you like yours? Or do you wish you went 4.88?

Im running 295/70r17 so thats like a 33.23”. Yes my truck is a 5 speed and the 5.29s are pretty aggressive, but i am happy with them. I have run 4.88s with the same tires and for highway driving theyd probably be better, but i like how the 5.29s make the truck feel. What size tires do you plan to run?

    A thing or two...
I'm running 4.88 gears with 315/70R17 on my 5-speed. That combo runs close to stock rpm on the highway.
