Thank you. I'm very happy with it and I use it more often than I thought I would.

So if I understand this mod correctly, not only would you be able to create 2-low, but when the switch is thrown you should be able to do "locker anytime" as well as have ABS disabled? If this is true I would say it's a "three-fed"... Great work, everyone - thanks!

um... no. It is just 2Lo. I have separate mods for ABS disable and anytime locker.

I haven't tried it yet, but I assume you would be able to engage the rear locker and disable the ABS when in 2Lo because the ECU thinks you're in 4Lo.

I'll try it tomorrow and report back - I have been meaning to try it anyway and I don't know why I haven't gotten around to it yet...

I just tested this and the rear locker will engage and the ABS will disable when in 2Lo.

Yep. Should be no different than with the switch since the ECU thinks you are in 4wd still.

So, just to be clear, if the switch for 2-Low is on, and the 4WD knob is on 2-Hi, will:
    1. The ABS be disabled, and
    2. the Locker be functional when that switch is thrown?
    3. And when the 4WD knob is turned to 4-Hi you will still be in 2-Hi, and
    4. When the 4WD knob is turned to 4-Lo you will be in 2-Lo?

    Thanks for the help!

    1. ABS will not be disabled by just flipping the switch. Under normal operations the only way to disable ABS is to engage the rear locker which can only been done while in 4Lo. So to disable ABS with the switch, you flip the switch then shift from 2wd to 4hi and then to 4lo and then engage the locker and ABS is disabled, but you are also now in 2Lo with the rear locker engaged. If you don't have the rear locker there is no way to disable ABS without an ABS kill switch via another mod.

    2. Again the locker is only functional when in 4Lo. Unless you do the locker anytime mod.

    3. Yes, although the computer thinks you are in 4Hi. The one difference if you front drive shaft is now locked in and spinning, whereas it is not in 2wd.

    4. Yes, again with the front drive shaft spinning.

Note: If you have a front locker and engage it while using this mod, you will be in 3wd. The front driver tire will be receiving power from the tcase due to the design of the ADD that this mod bypasses.

Two questions: When I click on the diagram for the DPDT relays in the first post, it says picture not found in database. Does anybody still have the diagram (original size) to post up? Second question is has anybody found made their own harness so we don't have to cut and splice all the wires? Thanks!!!

When I click on the diagram, it opens for me - jut like it should??

Re: the harness - I'm not aware of anyone making one. I considered making and selling them, but was asked not to

I tell you what Tim. If you want to make and sell those harness's then go right ahead. It will help out a lot of guys with this mod. I put this diagram out to help fellow members with this mod. Never intended to have profit made from it. But I understand that this may be an easier way to install this mod and that takes time and money to put together. Good luck with the harness's.

I've been looking at this for a very long time, but it still scares me a little. If someone built and sold a kit with instructions, I'd gladly buy it; and be willing to pay a fair price for the convenience. Just my two cents FWIW.

A guy PM'd me for some pics, I took some basic ones. I didn't want to dig into my wiring too much because there are a lot of them there from all the mods I have done, but they should at least help you locate the harnesses for wires in the diagram.

Is the wire diagram the same one that's at the first part of this thread . ?

Alan - the original poster - made a couple revisions to the wiring diagram while I was working on mine. I can't remember if he updated the diagram in the first post or not. You'll need the updated diagram for it to all work.
