I have a 95.5 Tacoma 3.4 4x4 that has cracks in both heads. I have found a 3.4 out of a 2000 Tacoma 2wd. Both trucks are automatic trans. Will the 2wd motor fit into my 4x4 truck? Willing to swap necessary components.

Engine will fit !! Engine electronics and harness etc from your truck need to be installed on the newer engine.

    Other minor differences as well.

No doubt the oil pan and pick up tube as well .

Having never seen a 2wd I can only guess the oil pans are different .
