Ok so took the throttle body off for a 70k carbon build up clean...

Took it apart and then back together exactly like it was now I have no pedal til' the very bottom, strange shifts, CEL illuminated, and difficult idle... I took the throttle position sensor off and then back on and it was perfect for like 4 miles and back to no throttle again... I've had to borrow a vehicle due to my daily commute. Does anyone have any tear down pictures, adjustments, schematics, or ideas???

    Thanks

I had that same problem but it just happend randomly. With my truck it was the main. Computer not sending the signal to the throttle body. I would check the wires and make sure one did not get pulled out of the plug

I have no way of reading the code just yet.. I need to get it to the tech school and hook it up to the modus.. Thanks for those manuals, I found them last night.. It definitely feels like a mechanical issue with a linkage but they all seem correct.. all vacuum hoses are correct and the throttle body gasket looks great.. I will check all the plugs tonight and also test the circuits as well... Thanks guys for the ideas...

I had the same problem aroun d 70000 miles. I think it was an internal position sensor.(it was a few years ago). Took it to dealership to read code. I hade to change out the whole throttle body. They said it couldnt be repaired. Hopefully this is not your problem because it was $1200 part.
