The issue is that the 7th injector only sprays extra fuel at a certain level of load/boost which for me I think it's right around that 2500 rpm mark...I need to tune it to start spraying earlier.

Fuel trims are all within -5 to 5, MAF and fuel filter are 2 yrs old. Stock pulley

I was given a file for uploading to the 7th injector ecu from another member on here with a similar setup, I just haven't uploaded it yet because I need a specific (older) Windows laptop setup to do so. I should be able to download it into my mac I just haven't tried yet. So many other truck projects going on

    I had a 2004 manual and now a 2001 manual.

I can tell you that with no boost or supercharger, this 2001 and my 2004, made that pinging sound if you give too much gas and not enough RPMs. Regardless of the S/C. I notice this especially from first to second gear.
I’m learning to drove out of the boost especially with the wife in the car. And if you stay light on the gas, no pinging. I’m staying light on the gas and when 2500 hits, I can boost. I’m 100% stock. Not even a high flow air filter.

2004 pickup. accident. A huge truck backed into its front end at work.

Got a 2015- rear ended while I was stopped at a light. Photos on my album.

2018- rear ended while I was stopped at a light. It was the back to future truck.

    now on the 2001.

Are any of you still running the small orfice/restrictor in the boost controller vacuum line? Or did our S/C never have one.?
I know 2nd gen Tacomas have them.

It’s funny. I worked at a company that used windows xp in one cube, windows 7 in another, vista in an another.

The restrictor jet? We have those, I pulled mine out because it was lodged in the vacuum line sideways. Slightly better throttle response with it out though some people say it makes you more likely to run rich I think.

Its in one of the vacuum lines going to the bypass valve, I pulled it out with a pair of needle nose pliers. Over time it got loose and lodged sideways so it wasn't doing its job anyhow

I found the photos of when I pulled it out...you can see it stuck inside the line

    20180418_192247_HDR.jpg

I had to cut the line to get it off but it was still long enough to reattach. Just pulled that sucker out and set it aside.

Connects to the bypass valve if I remember right. Mine was sucked halfway down the vacuum line but it should be adhered at the front of it
