3.4L supercharger

Luckily I haven't had to do that yet lol. I hear it's getting harder to find those guys nowadays due to the state really cracking down on them.

 

Methanol is up and running! It wasn’t spraying, not sure why because I primed it.

Pulled all the hoses off and primed it into a bucket. Up and spraying now and AFRs drop when I prime.

If the AFR is not changing with the methonal kit installed when the set points are hit it’s probably a delivery issue of methonal or the setting of the kit or plugged nozzle if it has 10,000 miles or so all depending on each setup of course

 

That’s pretty awesome trouble shooting.

 

So say I keep the stock pulley. I install methanol at 4 PSI to spray. My AFR numbers with no methanol are ok. The methanol would save me gas as the ECU will adjust and not add gas. If the methanol plugs up, the ECU will adjust again and add gas. Does this make any sense?

 

Methonal is for when your in boost and you need the added fuel to keep the AFR happy, it’s adding fuel.

Regular driving down the road it’s not needed and is cheaper to not have it spraying,

If you kept the stock pulley it would help out in the summer to keep everything cool and not have heat soaked issues

 

AFR gauge stuck at 22.4. Is it broken? I’m super frustrated. Just spent like $800 to put it in. About to take it off and call this project complete.

Try Calibrating it

Unplug the sensor and turn on the innovate gauge

It will read an error code in the upper left-hand corner O2 E2 I believe

Wait 30 seconds And turn it back off

Remove the sensor from the Exhaust pipe

Plug it back in

Turn the gauge back on and wait 30 seconds

Reconnect your sensor and start of the engine

See if that helps

I’ll have them look at it Thursday. It’s probably me power washing the undercarriage yesterday. It’s been cold. Who knows.

 

I think it’s a recalibration deal. That’s what other forums are saying. Where is that sensor? Is it behind the cat? Thanks

 

It would be welded right infront of the 1st cat

Pretty obvious, but I would just wait till Thursday incase there was some issues when it was installed and they can fix it

You paid them to install it

They need to make sure it’s working

 

It is recommended to recalibrate every so often depending on application

Racers recalibrate every race weekend

 

Yeah it’s only been a couple weeks. It should be a little more resilient.
