Which kit? It came with the 7th injector or all new fuel injectors? I haven't heard of a supercharger kit that comes with new injectors and a fuel pump, got a link to it?

Usually they just come with the supercharger, belt and 2 step cooler spark plugs (IK22)

I don't think it comes with those things, there's no need for a new fuel pump or new fuel injectors with the stock setup and that's what they mean when it says ' Fuel pump supplied - Not required ' ...just an odd way of wording it

The URD 7th injector kit comes with a new fuel pump but that's because there's a greater demand for fuel delivery when you add the 7th injector.

I just called. You are correct. Just S/C. No pump and no injections. She did say it’s meant for stock vehicles with stock fuel pump and stock injectors

You will be so happy with the supercharger. I do not know how I drove without one :D. Installed mine last year @ 126k following John's advice and now @ 140k truck drives absolutely great. I've had my methanol kit since 130k and it has been a great addition to the supercharger, specially in the summer. I have been running a stock pulley since installation

So for @1997tacomav6 & @04yota - what's your setup? No piggyback or aftermarket ECU? No 7th injector or 6 bigger injectors?
Just running a wideband sensor controlling the meth spray?

I'd love the easiest setup for the biggest win, which is seeming like base supercharger (no 7th injector/piggyback/tuning) + meth + wideband.

Is the meth controlled purely by boost and you "tune" it by watching the AFR gauge and adjusting the spray controller?

If I were to do it over thats how I would go...just a simple methanol injection setup, no piggyback or injectors to worry about tuning or fuel pump to upgrade. Plus the added benefit of cooling which none of the other options provide.

Unfortunately for me, meth kits are a no-go in CA if you want to pass emissions. Well, neither is my 7th injector but that's a little easier to hide.

Yeah, fortunately I don't have to deal with CARB anymore. If I do, I could easily just remove the meth if my truck went back to living in CA. Sounds like this is my path of least resistance to get a supercharger on my truck!

As I said if you're in the Denver area 6000 feet you do not need to worry about the engine pinging or fuel issues with the stock pulley so you do not need to change your fuel pump you do not need to change the fuel injectors you do not need to do anything with the stock pulley. Stock pulley in Denver will put out 4 lb maybe 5 lb at sea level level it'll put out six maybe seven pounds so that's the difference. If you go to a smaller pulley 2.1 in particular you will need some type of fuel upgrade or you will have to drive the truck without the high RPM or without lugging the motor,
You need to upgrade the spark plugs put in a new fuel filter and you'll be good to go, You do not have to get an air fuel ratio gauge with a stock pulley. But they're nice to have so you know what's going on.
If you go with the 2.1 or 2 inch pulley you will need the methanol injection for the added fuel, you will not need the 7th injection or a larger fuel pump or piggy back, it's a very easy straightforward installation with the least amount of work and better benefits but it will require more maintenance and adding boost juice into your equation or methanol that you make

My setup is similar to @1997tacomav6 no piggy back or aftermarket ecu. The only difference between my setup and John's is that he is above sea level and I am at sea level. I do get some pinging in high gear low rpm if I floor it ( usually around 2500)
I usually go thru a tank of methanol in 2000 to 2500 miles using #2 nozzle because I'm not always in Boost. I average 26mpg to 30 mpg on my daily commute :D

I put 60 000 some miles on my methanol kit

it's running like a dream, truck has never run as good as it runs today believe that or not and just added the 170 thermostat that now lower the temperature of the supercharger and the engine both to make it run even sweeter, Engine runs at 175-180

    Yep
They push the stock application only
They are very adamant that there is no warranty if you do ANYTHING else to your truck.

I haven't swapped my thermostat or the 15yr old radiator. :D I usually run around 193 to 195f as per my scan gauge.
I will probably be doing both before next summer just to be safe.

    193-195 seems pretty good!

I run 203...BUT, I have a Automatic Transmission that I am sure adds some heat to the radiator.

Adding a transmission cooler and 170 thermostat this weekend.

I’ll be happy if I can get down to 190.

John’s got a amazing radiator, hence the 170s temps

If your radiator (being stock and 15 years old) is able to lower your temperature with the 170 thermostat to 180 from 195 you will feel a nice power difference,

Anytime you can lower the superchargers temperature will mean more power
