    You can sell you old tensioner bracket for 100.00 ,
    I paid that for one and cut it up to make a bracket support for the nose of the supercharger

    Can you just get the tensioner and put it on the old bracket?

    also, Does porting on the 2nd gen charger add any power or does it only make them louder?

    Old bracket tensioner comes off, if you want the bracket you need to cut the old tensioner to make it into a bracket.

    The new tensioner kit I believe comes with all the hardware.

    If you cut the old tensioner into a bracket you use the bolts and spacer that’s being used now

    It’s best to buy the dynamic tensioner new, the spring does wear out and get the complete kit.

    Yes, he is, I gave him the copy of mine.
    If there is a threaded hole on the snout it will work.

    I don’t think the newer supercharger have the threaded hole, there’s a stub there that might be able to drilled.

    Yeah the stub is there, just no pre-drilled/threaded hole. I forget who it was but someone here just drilled his to install the bracket too

    ahh ok thanks, i am looking at the Magnuson version right now, and dont see a tap/threaded area. maybe on the next rebuild, i have like 4k miles on this one and dont want to ruin it. I can do pretty much anything, but when it comes to drill/taping threads i am the worst at it.
