so I'm looking at about 30 different brands for a timig belt kit on Rockauto.com for my 2004 3.4L.

I'm of course getting one of the "kits" with the water pump included.

Anyone have any experience with any of the brands

    dayco
    Continental
    Aisin
    Airtex
    ??

Aisin and Conti I have good experiences with, I prefer Aisin, but I've installed tons of Conti. I would stay away from Dayco and Airtex simply from lack of name recognition.

Yeah, really leaning towards this kit. I like how it's got all the stuff I'd end up replacing anyway, like the drive belts, etc...

I did his kit, and filled in some needed/associated parts at Toyota Dallas.

    Wise move.

Got the kit and did the work this weekend. Top notch parts and everything went in smoothly. Ended up taking 3 days start to finish, but not full days because I had to stop for New Years libations.

    Anyway, thanks for the beta.

Thanks for the info and recommendation of the vendor. I need this stuff also. Wondering if any one has had any experience with the Gates high performance belt and even if one is available for the 3.4 V6. I saw one on my kid's Supra and it looked pretty good.
    Thanks
