Two of them looked like this.
Going to do fuel filter now.
I'll cut open the fuel filter and see how dirty it is. Stay tuned. Lol

I'm going to say those coil packs are not working correctly with all that debris in there, probably shorting out on load.
I would probably get NEW coil packs and not deal with this issue again

I'm guessing the previous owner installed it to help with ping issues.
Does it run differently when offf as I see a power switch there?
This is what I found below,,,,

The Venom 400 module has caused quite a stir with people. Yes, it does "increase" a certain amount of HP persay.. but let me explain how it works:

Lets say you are throttling at 30%. Venom 400 will make your computer think you're at 40-50%.. so the computer will add more fuel and stuff.. Thats why Venom only claims gains only up to 75% throttle.. after that the computer will be in open loop and the venom 400 is useless.

Don't forget the fuel pump as a possibility...unless that was already replaced recently.

When my fuel pump went out at 400,000 some miles it was "BANG, SHOT DEAD" just like that in the middle of the road, had to get towed. There was no warning for me, :))
That was one of the 2 times the truck let me down, the other was a fan hub bearing that locked up on me.

Just like the fuel filter, Toyota claims its a 'lifetime' part but they do go bad...especially when boost is in the equation. The supercharger demands much more out of the pump than the stock NA setup does...something to consider if all else fails. It might just be that the pump is struggling when you step on the throttle and the RPMs climb, that's when the most stress would be on it anyway.

I’m looking into buying a S/C from Someone. Says there’s about 80k mikes in it. How often should they be rebuilt? And is there anything I should check for if I get my hands on it?

    I'm thinking about the injectors.
After sitting overnight the truck will start on 5 cylinders for 30 seconds or so then it will run on all 6 cylinders like maybe an injector is slowly leaking overnight. And MAYBE that's my hesitation problem also.

ya just something to consider if the problem persists even after trying everything else.

    Coils!! :)
Because it cuts out at under load too,
That's a type fault when they go bad with no codes

If it's on the truck make sure you can run it to hear if there's any bearing noise if it's not on the truck you won't be able to tell if there's a bad bearing or not just make sure you have all the parts to install it with you might be able to take it to a supercharged company and have them do a leak down test on it,
Or maybe it's referred to as a pressure test to make sure everything is sealed up inside I know whenever I get mine rebuilt they do and it sits for overnight if I remember correctly, typically as long as oils been changed regularly they need to be rebuilt about every 150,000 miles, anyways that's my experience.
I have over 400,000 miles on mine and the bearings on mine go out at around 150,000, then a complete rebuild that's around 1000.00 and I'm good for another 150,000
I have seen plenty of people buying these superchargers used and the buyer says
it has 50 or 70,000 miles and come to find out they have a lot more and need a complete rebuild, see if he is the original owner

TRD recommended about 100k intervals for a rebuild of the superchargers. Check to make sure it's got oil in it (mine was almost bone dry when I bought my truck), and it would probably be a good idea to go ahead and change the oil while you're at it.

Generally if they are rattling so loudly and obnoxiously that you can hear it in the cab when you accelerate, then it's probably due for a rebuild. A rattle sound at idle is normal, especially if you have the hood up.

He’s the original owner as far a I know. He said he’s changed the oil 3 times at 80k. He changed it whenever he moved it to a new 4Runner. He has tons of vehicles. Sent me dozens of pics. He seems to very mechanically inclined as well buying broken down or toataled toyotas and rebuilding them to drive and sell........the rebuild thing is what scares me. He got s pretty good price on it and a rebuild would pretty much put it close to retail. Unless I could just buy a kit and do it myself.

Also, if I do get it all on the truck with the 7th injector how much time is involved in removing it and getting it running where I can drive while I rebuild? Or would the truck just sit there until it’s done?

If you keep your stock intake manifold on hand it shouldn't be too much trouble. The 7th injector can remain on the truck, just not plugged into the supercharger of course. It shouldn't spray fuel because it gets activated by boost pressure.
