    Let me know how that goes.
    Next week I’m sending my charger in to be ported, the inlet and outlet.
    Will be interesting to see what results I get.
    This is a photo of a before and after ported supercharger.
    It lets more air in and more air out.

    Tol
    The coating Tolerance can be added by the amount of
    coating that is layered on between the case
    and the rotors, with no coating there is a small gap, with coating the gaps are much less and better tolerances for more boost
    And a better seal between the rotors and inside case walls.

    Think of it like an engine piston with no compression rings.
    The smaller the gap between the side of the piston and the cylinder wall the more compression.

    So having the rotors coated and the inside case coated you will have better boost with a smaller gap.

    You may as well have a butt screw mod done while your waiting for the other work to be done.
    This way u can change you supercharger oil in 5 minutes or so.

    Supercharger was ported today, will have new bearings put in since its apart and should be up and running in a week or two hopefully with some good new power numbers.

    You have to be very careful when doing the top o ring, you get one shot because it will roll and get damaged if it doesn’t go in the first time, if you try to remove the Oring after you install it it will likely get damaged.
    You should order a few of the top rings just in case. If your taking the snout off

    So I got the 4 bolts out and nothing is budging. Any ideas? Is there some kind of sealing at the joint where the 4 bolts go that I need to break loose?? @1997tacomav6

    Oh the rear 4 bolts holding the bypass tube?

    There might be some gasket maker holding it in place, try a sharp edge tool to break the seam as it should pop off

    3” lift. Sway a ways 2.5 on 285 75 16 and much more
    looking for a few part numbers and some help on my SC rebuild.
    I want to powder coat my sc and in order to do that they require all bearings, seals, caps and other moving things to be removed.
    I got it taken apart 90% of the way but im stuck as to how I would remove the piece that the bypass valve vacuum actuator I connected to (YELLOW)
    Also there are 2 copper? caps in the back, cant find a part number for them or how to remove them without damaging them. (ORANGE)
    and last thing when taking off the plate that covers the 7th ejector port I damaged my gasket. Also need a part number. Tired searching all over but cant seem to find it. (RED)

    Tried searching this and I believe it is possible, but has anyone changed the driver side sprk plugs without removing the SC? It looks possible and I found a thread on another forum that sounded like it was possible. Just figured I’d ask here.
