    Hi everyone!
Just to let you know to check your rear water bypass joint!! They seem to be a problem on the 3.5.
Its not a big leak but the part is back order in canada (26) . My waranty is over because its pass 3 year (by 5months!!!) The truck has 50000km
They reason i saw the leak is because i check my truck with a flash light at every oil change i performed. Its a 14-16 hour job!!
    Good luck! 20200206_134702.jpg Screenshot_20200128-115154_Video Player.jpg

Fairly well known issue. Who changes your oil? Dealer? good on them for doing a thorough inspection.

I just realized you said you cause it, nice job. Did you try the dealer? Sometimes if you're nice enough they may help you out, even if it's after warranty on a known issue. Also, u can hit quote on the bottom right of my comment and it'll reply directly/tag to me

Is that what the dealer told you? I'm would like to know why myself. Isn't that a component of the engine?

I was converting to miles, and did dealer say that bypass is not covered? It attached to engine, so would be part of power train as why water pump is covered. I would push this on them, even go over their head, on this... It's BULLSHNIT.....

I figured if the dealer is saying no, call corporate. If it is in fact powertrain under their warranty, they'll deal with the dealership themselves.

All that says is that he did his "research" and that he'll work with you on the price. Call Corporate, this is 100% bs.
