Okay, yeah, those look like Bilstein 5100 shocks that are probably cranked all the way up on what look like the stock springs. That's going to make your ride pretty stiff. It looks like the only thing you have in the back is an extended shackle, and those things are nearly vertical, which is bad. Those need to go. That's way too much lift to be doing with just a shackle.

Unless you're willing to do all that cutting and tubbing to fit the 35's, like I said, I would just sell them and get some 33's, and some new springs, front and rear. While you'r ethere, might as well toss on some new shocks.

For about $1200m you can get a full OME 3" lift kit (all new springs and shocks) that should be all you need to fit 33's, with maybe a pinch weld mod.

@Taco critter is like the only guy here who likes body lifts, and we like to tease him about it. (all in good fun tho) If you're interested in going off road, I'd highly recommend ditching the body lift.

Look at the tops of those coilovers , looks like they stuffed some kind of spacer in the top of the coilover(or is it my eyes)and yes those extended shackles in the back gotta.

Hard to tell, but I don't see any spacers, just the coils.

These are what I was looking, those aren’t coils, not the same size and aren’t in line with coil above and below them. 7C1F7DEC-3C4C-4E42-B50C-EE23FEE170E7.jpg

Jbrandt, see those top 3 coils they look very odd, looks like one of the coil spacers you put between the coils to make the coil taller and how the outer edges don’t line up like the rest of coil. Just looks odd to me.

So much info thanks guys. I’m considering taking into my local Toyota shop and fixing all the things y’all pointed out. Gonna have to put the accessories on hold

Great idea. Take that money and make sure your suspension is correct and good to go. My 02 I put 400k miles on. Take care of that truck and it will take care of you.

Yeah, I saw that too. I just wrote it off as a coil that's partially collapsed on itself (from being worn out). I don't think I've seen spacers that fit inside the coils like that.

As Taco said, I'd take it to an independant mechanic, preferable someone that specializes, or at least has experience with Toyota 4x4s. A dealer is going to be over priced, and they'll just try and sell you OEM parts. You need (ahem *want* lol) aftermarket suspension stuff...

Was still running great. Zero issues. Bought my current 2015. Here’s a pic of my 02. FB100941-A22B-4878-BF2A-4E32D3B04C24.jpg

Yes. The shackles are longer than factory shackles thus creating lift. There are much better ways to do it.

I see what your saying now. They look like all they do is dampen my springs and push them down which is probably why i don't trust taking this truck off roading yet. Rides so stiff! Maybe i should get new leaf springs and shocks for back end?
