ok so I start my truck to leave work today and it starts running REALLY rough and the check engine light I have been ignoring started flashing!!!! a couple seconds later its running smooth. so I head to town to get the code read and get P030, P0171, P0130, and P0133. cylinder #3 misfire and several o2 sensor codes. OK........so i decide to get new plugs and see if it helps, well the plugs had some oil on the threads and #3 had considerably more than the rest. Could this be the cause of the misfire and why is there oil? thanks

First thing that comes to mind is that your rings are shot.

    Do a compression test.

I had this problem when I had a 98 neon. The first thing I did was change the plugs, then the plug wires and lastly the coil pack. That stopped the misfire but not the oil going down into the plugs. That was a result of having a leaking head gasket. Never did fix that, wasn't worth it. Still managed to get 130k miles out of the car before I got rid of it.
