No. Your choices are Type A which is 4.5" BS or Type B which is 4" BS

You will have less issues with a 10.5" wide tire yes.

Can't be. Heavier tires, more friction, etc... really?

And forgive my hesitance in believing someone who rejoices at 12 mpg.

    :p

That's what I'm hoping. Truthfully I usually get 100 mile per 1/4 hashmark, and right now I'm just slightly above the half tank mark and I have 150 miles on the tripometer.

That's pretty drastic even for winter gas blend... although checking fuelly.com I was getting about 19 - 20 mpg during this time last year.

I'm a bit nervous that the weight of the sliders is fucking with my gas mileage but the first full fill up and tank I ran with the sliders on, I got the usually 22.8 mpg. So I don't know. All I do know is it's freaking my OCD out :(

The BFG 33 x 10.5s would be awesome for your needs IMO

I actually think I have my old ones still somewhere..maybe

Lol 150 at half is amazing for me haha I have never seen 100 at 1/4.

But yes they would be some change but not much. 1-2mpg I bet.

I doubt the solder are effecting it that much. Only 150lbs max..

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Check out the Warden A/T retreads from Treadwright:

    https://www.treadwright.com/p-9-31-10-50r15-warden-a-t.aspx

Very similar tread patern, you can pick your own tire carcus (you can choose BFG AT), and its only $94 per tire + shipping and mount/ballance.

If you wait, looks like there may be a GB: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/group-buys/239873-treadwright-gb.html

i also tried a rim/tire 33x12,50 -15 from a friend it fit but it was tight.rubbed alittle bit at turn without no weight in the truck. I think if u have a little weight in the cab they'll rub for sure.

I can't remember so hopefully the others have helped you with answering that. Mine will rub the frame slightly at a full turn. And for some odd reason every now and then my truck somehow gets into a funky position when offroading and will rub the lower bolt head that's closest to the cab on my drivers side rear fender. It did rip off a mudflap one time but mostly it's just fooking up my bolt and making my fender flare look funky. Only does it on the one side though for some reason. Easy solution? Just take the flare off. But I don't want to. I just need to find a low profile bolt.

I should throw in that the front wheels are 16 inch TRD Ivan Stewart's...which most of you should know anyway...if not...SHAME! :D

recently did the toytec ultimate 3" lift w/ 2" AAL. Put on 285/75/16 tires. Wheels have 4.5" BS and a little rubbing on the frame @ full lock and on the UCA's. I bought 1.5" spacers to solve Px, may be a little too much on the spacers..... still haven't put them on (soon). Looking forward to a little trim:D! Haven't had the opportunity to fully flex everything out yet to see what all needs to be 'adjusted'.
