Hi, I have a question. I'm getting the Toyota TSB done soon and then I plan on installing a 3"lift kit. My question is what size tires can I run with my stock rim which is 16" from my 2005 tacoma 4x4? I'm thinking of running 275/70/16 but am not sure how big of a tire that is in inches high.
    thanks

It's a Pro comp lift kit on ebay for about $169. The guy makes them for pro comp. It uses a 3inch aluminum spacer on the front and leaf springs on the back. The front spacer doesn't require a shock compressor to install.

won't adding a lift kit leaf after the TSB just raise the rear end 1.5 to 2 inches?

    Wow.... anybody have this lift?

Does their knuckles come in contact with the coils?

If I rememer correctly, having a spacer that big above your coil assembly causes your knuckles to be too close to the coils and possibly cause contact.

I was told, when I called and was asking if I needed a spring compressor and was told no by the manufacturer. I was also told that you still have to take the front spring assembly off and the 3" spacer bolts to the top plate of the spring and does'nt preload the spring like most other kits due thereby not having as stiff a ride in the front end. Now as far as binding with something I'm not sure as I have'nt installed the kit yet.. I am having the TSB done 1st so I don't run into any warranty issues like them not wanting to install the TSB cause of having a lift in.......
