3" lift and jack?

    oil change...
    I think common sense should prevail in this situation...use the jack to lift up the suspension..if you try and lift the frame you will get too much droop and the tires will stay on the ground

    You may want to check your owners manual. Mine says to lift it from the frame ...doesn't say anything about the LCAs. The stock jack will not work if you follow the directions from the owners manual or the directions on the jack.

    do any of you know which bottle jack will fit in the compartment, and work
    with 3" of lift. i have some old 2x12 scraps, i will use that under the jack if needed.
    i want a better jack, one that you pump up and down on. i had the worst time with
    the factory one. the extension rods kept spinning. i could not get the bolts tight enough. if i did not have vice grips with me i would have been screwed.
