hey I know this is like an ongoing thread but I still can't seem to figure things out. So I kinda just got my taco and I was looking for a 3" lift. I was thinking toytec but I wasn't sure with the difference with the coil lift and spacer lift ? But is there anything else I might need or any steps on what I should get first and please list the prices. Thanks in advance

If you are trying to decide between spacer or coil, with the coil I would recommend replacing the front shocks as well. If you put the OME coils and stay with your stock shocks, the ride is going to be fairly rough. So the Bilstein 5100's ($199) or OME N140S's ($289 ideal) would be a good choice. If not go for the front spacers.

And of course for the rear I would go with the AAL instead of the block. The Toytec lifts don't come with replacement rear shocks so a set of extended rears wouldn't be a bad idea. After you install the AAL, with the stock rear shocks it only leaves you with about 1" of down travel. So when you go over a bump fast it's going to slam real hard, and eventually bust the shocks or mounts. (Bilstein 5100's $199, OME 182's $169)

You're also gonna want to get extended length brake lines or do a drop down for the mounting points, if you get the longer rear shocks.($70) It's not a bad idea reguardless. Rear axle shims would be a good idea too.($20) All these prices are straight from Toytecs website.

Cool thanks man. Okay imma try and save up for the 5100s all around, OME coil lift kit. Cuz I was looking for a smooth ride but mainly for looks not really a hardcore off roader but it does look fun and I'm willing to try. But for now just as a daily driver truck.

What do u think about 275 or 285 BFGs AT KOs on stock 17" alloys. I wanna paint them black though.

Man looking at everyones trucks makes me jealous. I can't wait to fix mine up!

You'll need an alignment once you install or have a lift installed. $50-$100 depending on where you go.

Staying w/your stock rims,The biggest tire you can go is 265/70-17.You'll never clear your UCA's w/a wider tire.Use E-Bay for the 5100's,$269.00 gets all 4 shocks.DownSouthMotors is the place.

Any time.As for rims,A 4.5" back space will clear 285's.You may still have to trim some.:)
