3" toytec lift noise on driver front axle help, warrenty with toyota

    I just installed a 3" toytec lift and now my driver front axle is getting a noise at every rotation, i know that is not normal, i lifted it up and spun it pass side ok driver side makes noise bad axle? or joint someone try to relate to me or let me know what i could do, i have and appointment for the dealer ship on next monday i hope i didn't void the warrenty? ekkk

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    is it a 4x4 and was there a diff drop installed?

    well i didn't install a diff drop i don't know what is involved in that but it is like a grinding noise and every rotation or so same spot, kinda vibration on my feet, and it is a 4x4

    wouldn't fluid come out if the axle came out abit?

    crap i just got my alignment done today too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, what about a diff drop what would that do? or where do i get it

    i think i found the problem!!! took my front tire off and checked everything out, it seems like my inner cv axle bearing is bad there is a lot of play up and down, now i didn't hear any noise before i installed it but after i installed it i noticed it while backing out of the driveway , thats got to be it, i hope toyota will warrenty it!!!!

    Did you remove the half shaft (cv) completely? If not it's possible that the splines on the half shaft was just pulled out/seperated from the diff. Of course if that was the case then you would probably be leaking 90w out of your diff.

    every thing is the same on each side under neath axles are all the same distances from everything but i have up and down play in the main cv by the diff
