Looking at the different kits toytec offers, is their any benefit to the 3" pro basic kit vs. the 3" lift coil kit? it seems like it would i guess, but when i contacted toytec about replacing the spacers with the adjustable bilstiens, they said it would make no difference. In my opinion, wouldnt replacing a spacer with an off road shock be better? just my $0.02... So now im wondering if the coil would not do anything either and it is just money for nothing? im confused...

It sleeps great...I made sure of that when I picked it! Doesn't much matter though, I don't get any less action on the sofa than I do on the bed. She can't take away what I don't get.

according to the toytec technicians i talked to if you are lifting a 2nd gen you dont need to replace the shocks at all. In fact they said that the original shocks work great and they recomend using them

i lifted my truck and then just a few days later was gone two weeks...

been back a while and my truck seems to be riding ok. at first i did find it a little rough, but it's either not as bad as i thought, or just gotten used to it....

either way, i am VERY happy with it!! :D

Sunday after Thanksgiving, I have plans set to install mine. I will take pictures and document tools needed (sizes and whatnot). Hopefully this will help out the first gens out there that are behind the times like my self.

So the best way to go is the 3" spacer lift rather than the coil lift? If I want a higher angle from the back, should I get the extra 1" blocks? I'm trying to assimilate all of this info, but I'm new to this so bear with me...

Unfortunately I had to postpone. My garage is temporarily out of order. Had repair guys (for the garage door) here yesterday, they looked at and said they had no parts for a garage door that size and would have to reschedule.
As much as I desperately want to get that lift in, this was a 1 day weekend for me and I enjoyed doing absolutely nothing today.

Anyway I'm hoping for this coming weekend, but it's all hanging on the garage door people.

Thanks for clarifying. Yup, I like the stock angle, so I want to keep the back higher than the front.

yeah, to keep the stock you will either need a combo of aal and blocks, or just bigger blocks, i think the aal adds 1.5 - 2"

Sorry, the snow throws off the pictures a little bit. The sunny pictures are from Friday and the snow pictures are from today.
