Its just like that movie, 40 days and 40 nights, except its ten days less and it's with booze instead of sex. To prove to myself, and my friends that i am not an alcoholic, i have decided that for the entire month of August, i will be booze free. Thats right, "Dry August" means not a single solitary sip of booze will pass my lips. So basically i'm not gonna be a happy camper. Tomorrow is my last night to drink, and believe me, i'm gonna drink like i'm paid to do it. But unfortunately i have to stop at midnight, which means i have to drink so hard and fast i have to pass out by 10 or so. i already have off friday morning so i wont have to stumble into work until around noon or after. Just thought you guys would like to know whats going on, maybe get a kick out of it. actually, i was thinking a "square system" might be cool. people can bet on which day i will break or if i will make it the whole time. anyway, wish me luck....

I did something similar once... haven't been a drinker since.

Also... August has 31 days... are you giving yourself a cheat day, or are you going to call it quits a day early?
