I think your experience with your Tacoma is going to be hard for anyone to beat. I don't think that truck owes you anything! Glad to see it's still running and reliable!

Congrats on the 300k+! Did you miss any brake jobs in there? Looking at it, they're the original rotors and there was about 140k from 100ish to 240ish without anything. In any case, great work with it!

It does indeed have a new home! The 3rd OEM shift knob in the truck.

    Great job, keep it running.

How about some specs on your tires, What ones did you like the best and size you running?
Were they all the same size?

Wow, I think the Mobil 1 has proven to be a very oil and the maintenance records are top notch, nice looking truck. How do the A/T michelins perform on road? are they as quiet as the M/S2's?

The A/T 2 Michelins are not quite as quiet as the M/S 2 Michelins, but not bad. Slightly better traction in snow and mud. They look like they will not last quite as long, however, and in fact have a 60k mile tread-wear warranty vs. 70k for the M/S 2.

Agreed, Mobil 1 has proven to be a very good oil in my truck. This last change I tried the Mobil 1 0W30 AFE to see how id did in the cold of winter (I live at nearly 7000 ft elevation). Seems to be doing fine. Until this point I had only used Mobil 1 5W30 EP in this truck.

Props!!! Way to drive and know the limits of your truck (ie not flog it like some of us) and be on top of repairs as well!! From another humble owner that can only hope mine will last as long.

Congrats on your maintenance efforts paying off in the form of good reliable miles. At what mileage did you install your Icon setup and how has it held up? That's my only concern with lifting my truck is negatively affecting it's long term durability.

For all those saying this make your decision to buy a truck, It's YOU that makes it last that long. Keep it clean "frame" and keep it serviced. Address any small issues before they become big issues. And for god sake, don't drive it through the ocean or your pond. That will decrease the life on those wheel bearings. Its not just tocomas that can last long. My first S-10 has over 400,000 miles on it with the motor rebuilt once and on second 5 speed transmission. Dad's driving it now. My second olds intrigue had 275,000 miles when i sold it. My last car was a 06 G6 GTP and i think it was a lemon had 130,000 when i traded in for my 2012 DBcab tacoma. Looking to get 300,000 + out of it.
