Kinda researched myself- makes it so you don't have to have a hanging rope/shackle or hook it on your front shackles.

It allows a full close winching system no change of a hook breaking on the clamp

Just got back from my Dalton Highway trip, 698 miles one way, just under 1400 miles total, probably a little more if you count stops and little places we pulled off to. I have a shit ton of photos and videos to go through. Made it all the way to Galbraith Lake where I turned around by choice, didn't ever intend to go all the way to Prudhoe Bay as it doesn't really appeal to me since it's pure industry and you have to pay to take a tour just to go to the Arctic Ocean which is really stupid. Plus the scenery stops just after Atigun Pass. Didn't have any punctures in the tires, and didn't get any cracks in the windshield luckily. I've got a whole trip report to do on this.

    Thanks man!

Go the extra mile and stop in Alaska! You won't regret it. I won the Denali road lottery in September and that'll be awesome to take the taco on
