Colt...LUCKY...lol. mine ran $200. that coupled with needing to trim some inner fender and beat back that pinch weld, should have no rubbing w/ the 315/70/17. only rub w/ different circumstances on the fender pinchwelds right now

I was thinking of running 305/65/17 which is still a 33" but 12" wide...

its about a 1/4" smaller in diameter and about an inch wider

I'm just not sure if they will fit without a cab mount chop... PRS is running them without the chop so I guess they work.

Hey Mark, after reading thru all the posts on this thread, i was hoping you could clarify for me. what did you finally go with? the 305/65-17s? And if so, how much of a lift? 'cuz that's the exact size i'm thinking of getting but wanted to keep the lift to a minimum. also, do you got any final pics? i followed your pics, but there are like 3 or 4 different trucks on there.
    thanks!

    yes I did... I got 305/65/17 BFG A/T

I already had a 3" lift (OME 885 w/ 1/2" spacer, Bilstein 5100s, Toytec TSB AAL)... decided to dump that and went with a RCD 4.5" lift kit

figured I didn't want to chance whether or not the 305s would clear w/ just 3"...

    with 305/65/17 and RCD kit

yeah but they are a wider tire and thus when you turn you will rub the cab mount or atleast thats what would have happened on my truck prior to the new lift

Just saw this...for the record 305/65/17 rubs like hell on my cab mounts with a 3" lift. I had to trim up my flares pretty good too.
