    Hey Everyone,

I wanted to provide an update on current and future orders.

First of all, for the current orders...
Anyone waiting for a 4D style LED, they should be shipped out today from Cali Raised and I will provide you with tracking this afternoon once I get it from them. As far as a ship date for Stealth and Flush mounts, it is still scheduled for 12 Feb 2016. I will be heckling my powder coater every day until they are ready in hopes that I can see a sooner date. I will keep you guys posted each step of the way!

For future orders… It displeases me to announce that I will not be taking any more orders at this time. I have 8 Flush mounts left if anyone is interested in one. 1 is powder coated and the remaining 7 will be bare metal. The bare metal ones will be sold for $60, shipping included. I am just trying to re-coup my cost for these. See below for potential future sales.

As for the why… There are a few reasons and it wasn’t an easy choice as I get emailed every day asking for these mounts. The first and most important is family. I have been spending a lot of time in the shop and on the phone, and away from my kids. This is a side business for me and I have been so busy with it that I can see a noticeable difference with my boys. I need to spend more time with them! The other main one is my process. Because my business is small I rely on a lot of vendors to do things for me. I counted today and I use 7 different vendors to do things. This is too many and it adds a lot of time and expense to my process. Because I rely on so many I can’t make parts fast enough, or I have to address things by proxy working as the middle man that I could be handling myself if I had a bigger operation. I also rely heavily on shipping companies to keep schedules and customers happy and it’s too much. So my plan is this. I am going to stop making mounts at this time. I have some new equipment I want to buy so I can bring things in house, and I will also be making this my full time job in about 12 months. I am going to re-group and then re-offer my parts and many other new ones at a lower price and better than ever! My goal is to make your experience with me awesome and problem free, so this is what I need to do to make this happen.

    For my customers...
I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE. I am committed to honoring the same quality and customer service for all current and past orders. I am NOT sending these mounts out and then going away. I was active in the TW community before making my mounts and I plan to continue being active and part of this community. I still offer local fab services time permitting with my schedule and will probably pop up some batch runs on products from time to time! So if you still want one please keep an eye out on the group buy section! I am very grateful to have had so many great customers buy my LED mounts. This is actually because of my company growing too fast, and not the other way around. You guys are the best!!!

    THANK YOU
    Chris

Sad to hear you're temporarily pulling out but as a father with two sons himself, I did the same thing 3 years ago. Left a sales job for another that afforded me more time with the family and I don't regret it one bit.

I'm looking forward to the mounts and seeing you return and wish you and your family all the best.

Do you plan to send any out to get coated?

Will you still be selling the light bars?

    Thanks

I do not plan on powder coating anymore. I have 6 raw Flush mounts left, then I will not have anymore to sell. This actually works out for you because I am selling them at cost. Powder coating for you shouldn't be more than $20, which still brings you in under the $100 price point I was selling at before. I am basically giving you the discount for the hassle of taking it in. Or I recommend Rust-Oleum bedliner. It is not think like other spray on bed liners, it is actually almost identical to the mini texture powder coat I use. It is a cheaper and easy option to get the same finish.

Need some help. I finished most of the wiring awaiting the brackets. I installed a Mictuning switch in the open slot and completed the wiring as illustrated on the previous pages. Where I need help is with the illumination lighting of the switch. I can't find a wire to tap into. For one is because it's like single digit temperature outside and the wires are solid and I can't poke through them to test. Can anyone provide photos of the wiring and where they tapped into for the switch illumination? Thanks

Thats the one I was referring to. I don't see exactly the wire they tapped into. I did you the illustration for the rest of the wiring. They're description of the cargo lamp, I don't know which on is the cargo lamp and where exactly they are looking. That's where I need help.
