I am looking for a full write up on putting a 32" light bar behind my lower grill and I cant seem to find it I am ordering one here in the next couple of days. I do not want it in front of the grill. I want it behind it and I have seen a lot like this and I just like the way it looks. Any help would be great. First time doing any wiring to my truck, but can not seem to find a write up or video on step by step. The light bar comes with instructions to hook the light up to the battery but really looking for more help in a TACOMA not just any truck. I got this picture off of here, and read some on it. I don't need step by step, but I dont want to mess up anything as well. Thank you!

Hey Daniel. I've got a 3rd gen but it should be the same for yours too. I used @CaliRaisedLed 5D light bar with light brackets and wiring harness. They offer an upgraded harness with a switch that will go in a "dummy" cover if you have one on your dash or the regular switch that you can mount at the bottom of your dash to the right or left the steering wheel. It mounts with 3M tape (supplied). So typically you're gonna remove your grill first, then you should see your aluminum crash bar below. You'll remove the 2-3 bolts, top and side i believe, and mount your brackets in place using the same bolts then install the light bar per your instructions, with the harness running towards your battery. It will be a tight fit getting the screws in and tightened in the bar but take your time and you'll get it. It's just the nature of the beast so to speak. Remove inline fuse. Next connect your power wire to your battery, its the one with the inline fuse. Connect ground to bolt that your battery is grounded to. Then run the rest of your wire through the fire wall where your main truck harness goes through. You can poke a hole in the rubber grommet and push the wires through. Afterwards, put some silicone around the hole to seal it up. Personally I cut my connector off the wire so the hole wouldn't be so big and then soldered them back together once through the firewall. You can take the time to take each pin out of the connector but I opted to just cut the wire, seemed quicker for me. Replace fuse. Then like I said plug harness to switch and mount where you'd like. Flip the switch and let there be light. Hope this helps.

You probably will have to wait on a GB. They just did one at the end of last year, but ya never know. @CaliRaisedLed are awesome lights and an awesome company. Planning to get their 50" bar next.
