Actually...YOu DO see quite a few wanting to go from a 6" lift to a 3" lift. Many reasons you dont see as many, is due to having to cut the crossmember to install a 6" lift. However, You can re weld or buy the new part from Toyota, and go back.

i like my 6 inch lift, doesn't look bad IMO, but i also got the truck like that.... and the only thing i hate it the drop bar, you don't get that much ground clearance

Get a 3" Lift, 33" tires. Less expensive and will save you the hastle in the long run. Much smoother ride and you're not going to be considered a mall crawler :D

hey i have a 2011 DCSB with pro-comp 3" suspension lift after my tires are worn im getting 33's they will fill out wheel well better and i will still have plenty of room to allow for flex... if you get 35s and you flex you will end up chewing up your fenders. the 3" is great and MPG is about 17 with 33s it will probably drop a little.

    haha its all good man
i have a feeling that since i actually USE my trucks..that if i put 35s it will turn into an expensive money pit that i cant use..now if i was going strictly for looks...6'' suspension with 35s is where id be but im not so ill probably go with the 33s and 4'' lift at first and if i absolutely need anything higher ill go with 6'' and 35s
does a 4'' suspension lift require that drop bar?

(if I recall correctly). Think of it like this man. If you do a 3'' or 4'' lift now, it is easier to add to it, then take away. Especially with those pro comp 6'' lifts as chris 4x4 mentioned with the cutting of cross members and what not.

4" with 33s will be enough to tackle just about 99% of what you throw at her. Also, the difference in 33s and 35s will put A LOT of extra money in your wallet.

I have a 2 inch lift and 33s. It’s still very capable off-road and it doesn’t kill me on gas as a dd and I don’t have to mess with re-gearing.

Eventually I’d like a little better suspension (bilstein all the way around right now.) For right now it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it. :)

Not gonna lie... that’s a sharp looking truck. Did you re-gear? Bead lock wheels?

No regear. I like my rpm low for highway driving. And no they are the trd 16 inch wheels. I had the rings powdercoated to match the center caps

    I gotcha. 6 inch lift?
