This only proves my miles, but I only wanted to let people know what a Tacoma can do. I rarely log in, I have no reason to lie.

that's amazing and good to hear. I scored an 06 last year with just 68,000 miles and parked in garage. It is immaculate. I guess I'll have this truck a really long time!

    Little bit of stuff.
I've got 248k on my 06, just did spark plugs, drive belt, fixed a PS feed line leak, flushed brake fluid and coolant. I change the oil every 3-4k with full synthetic and a Fram filter. Next will be a new clutch (still on the original) and eventually a rack.

I see you're in PA. Any body rust? I just bought a 12 with 86 and noticed a month after I bought it some random spots in the door jamb area. Also the previous owner had a cap so the bed is rusting under the bed rail caps. No fault of yota on that one, but the door jamb rust is disappointing.

I have one spot at drivers side door, where I step to get in to truck. It's about a 'quarter' sized spot of surface rust. Other than that no, also the truck has been garage kept since new.

At the rate i drive i would be six feet under before I hit that mileage... Sure the mechanicals on my 2015 V6 will last that long and i am hoping the yearly krown oil spray keeps the rust at bay...

after having various flavors of FWD minivans it comforting to know the auto trans will go more than 100,000 miles for once...

Sure my kids will love me for leaving them a 30 year old tacoma in my will :)

Courier work really adds the miles and beats up the vehicle. I did it for a few years as a side job in addition to my sales job which puts me on the road constantly too, was averaging 70,000 miles annually...

Sounds like you're into a nice groove maintenance-wise, well done!

    Cheap ebay bumper, plus others
Average about 7k per year and just flipped 22k on the ODO.

I would be in my 80's by the time I'd reach this mileage, that's if I didn't drive less after retirement.

That's rough man. At least you know the longevity is there for you in a Taco. Not to mention it's a truck which allows you to do many more things than say a Prius.

This is true the longevity of the taco is what has me on my 2nd Taco. I wouldn't go with any other truck. Very pleased with the performance and comfort. just wish I didn't have the daily commute to work.
