I have about 36k miles currently. But I took my truck about 1k miles ago and got oil/filter and replaced those shitty dunlops for some 265s BFG ATs. I went to NTB, and they also recommended a Transmission flush. That was like another $250ish i think. But with tires and all that was $1150 for that one "service" so i thought i'd wait a few weeks to do the transmissions stuff. Well i went to an Express Oil change and asked about the transmission flush and they said that doesnt need to be done til 90k. But the Transmission fluid needed to be changed($50ish i think). So which needs to be done? Flush or change the transmission fluid?

a tranny flush at 36K is a total scam, especially for $250!!!

You're owners manual will say what should be done at that time. You should be able to do all of it yourself (since it's just fluids anyway). Or take it to a dealer. I spent about $500 for my 60K tuneup at a dealer. All new fluids, plugs, fuel filter, etc...

I talked to my dad about the transmission flush and he said that needed to be done at 35k but i told him i never saw anything about it in the Main. manual, so he called the dealer about the transmission flush. And they said something like the newer Tacos (07 included) has a special something? that doesnt have to get replaced that often if ever? Anyone ever heard anything on this? new to me

did they give a reason for the transmission flush or did they say it's routine maintenance? if they said it was routine maintenance, then I would question it because it's not in the service guide.
