My 35x10.50 on a 17x8.5 are taller than my buddies 315/75 on a 17x8.5, as well as my other buddies 315/70 on a 17x9.

    I’m the same height as a 35x12.5 on a 17x8.5 as well.

    Hope that helps.

How much clearancing did you end up doing? I expect cmc and pinch weld, but I dont see any fender trimming. Have you cycled the suspension yet?

I JUST did this today. Trimmed fenders, flared about 1/2”, beat the pinch weld and removed LH liner, kept the RH liner until I can/if I don’t decide to get a snorkel.

edit: using T4R Pro wheels, 17x7

Do you have to run spacers to clear these tires on stock wheels?

Dear Lord, I just had an accident. I LOVE those wheels! Any updates on them? Pics of them mounted with the Kenda's? I love the specs on them. I went from 18lb/each 16's to 28lb/each 17's and I could tell a difference. Really want to go back to a lighter wheel. Was thinking of the Konig Countersteer X as it has a great weight to cost value, but forged is so so so so so nice! Love the bronze color too! But to have forged and this weight per wheel, I would take any color.

So for 2nd gen guys....who all has stuffed these under their Taco with basically no cutting? Doable? Right now I'm on a set of BFG KO2 34/10.5/17 tires on the TRD Sport wheels and didn't have to cut anything. I barely graze the front mudflap mid-lock but that's it. Kinda wondering if I can lose the mudflap and be ok since the width is the same. Truck is a 2009 on Fox 2.5" DSC with a Dakar pack in the rear. No spacers, OEM TRD wheels.

The goodyears don't look as wide as claimed (12.7" supposedly). At first glance I thought that almost looked as skinny as the Kenda.

holly that is one heavy tire. I was hoping they would be lighter then the KM3s being narrower but they are equally as heavy.

you should be good front and rear but not sure about height as these are alot closer to actual 35's where KO2's measure smaller and likely are closer to 33's. My 315 Ko2's on 9" rims measure 33.4/5 ish. not the almost 35 I expected but did expect it really after reading. Any taller and they would rub big time on compression. I get some when it mashes hard.

That was kinda what I was thinking. What rubs exactly? Pinch weld? Fender or liner?

I can tell you that the 34x10.50R17 BFG is closer in size to the 255/85R16 than the 35x10.50R17. They run really really really small. We installed a set on a 4Runner with a ReadyLift 3/2 kit and had to do no trimming, but we always have to when we install the 285/70R17 in about any tire. And all Icon wheels. Just to give you a size comparison. But anything can fit if you let it. LOL

For sure. The KO2s measure 33.25" when they are new. I checked when I first got them.

Just got my 35x10.5x17's thrown on the pickup. Love the look, excited to put them to the test.
Curious what PSI you cats are finding to be ideal on these. I realize it is variable based on weight of vehicle, but I like to compare notes.

    Any input would be appreciated.

Around 30-32PSI cold for on road. I have little added weight up even when loaded up the temps and pressures come up on their own to where they need to be.

    Hey all,

Great info on this tire so far. Im looking to install this tire on my SCS F5 17x9” wheel. Do you think the 10.5 tire is wide enough for the 9.5" wheel?

If you wheel a lot I wouldn’t do it, but odds are you’re fine

So if I am pushing the side wall on red rock there might be a chance that it pushes the tire off the wheel? We go often out in remote areas.
