Side note...got my tundra rack apart...rack cut down to Tacoma length...now is rethreading one side and making a weld in bung for the other...then reassembly and new mounts for the frame...should work...and I'm gunna run a howe TC pump to run a bit higher gpm and lil higher line pressure...should work out good!!

Yes it's all going to be made into a YouTube video

Rack is in and drove it around on the street and a little dirt rallying...no leaks and everything seems to be working correctly...steering feels like it used to when it had stock tires...the rack turns the big tires pretty easy at idle. Next is throwing the howe TC high flow pump on to get more flow and more pressure...should lighten it up a bit more....

Installation is kinda a pain in the butt...there is very little room and the rack basically can only go in one spot...the mounts are actually roughly 3/8 wider than stock...moved forward roughly 1/2" and the new barrels you weld into the frame need to sit flush with the crossmember or else the rack will hit the oil pan of the motor...steering u joint needs to be shortened about 1.5-2" and it clears the frame rail by about an 1/8th inch, lol she fits like a pair of yoga pants that's for sure... I'll compose a more in depth thread on it soon and start offering machining services and modified rack service once I get er more tested

What kind of Gucci world do you live in! As long as she squats on the regular and doesn’t fail the “width” test I could care less about the brand.

Great setup...but it also costs like 3k or more for that setup....and ditch the AC...good for a race car..that's about it. Tundra rack from solo-1500$... option 3: buy a junkyard tundra rack a 30$ rebuild kit machine the guts yourself...new mounts..shorten the steering shaft and you got what seems to be a solid setup for 300$...option 4: buy a rack, disassemble send the rack and control valve to me...I machine it for you for about 400$(TBD) send it back and you finish the rest....overall cost about 700$ option 5: I get a rack machine it, rebuild it and send it off to you for 1000$

    Yep agreed
He also said it shouldn’t be hard for him to alter the setup to keep your AC

Just another option that’s all :)

I’ve been wanting to do the same. your cooler came with a thermostat? I’m afraid of running the temps too low while on 33s still.

Edit: I was just gonna follow this diy post..

Just put 50 miles of some hard mountain goat driving in...zero issues drives and steers soooo much better than the taco rack...gunna swap in the howe pump tommorow and give her another test...so far so good!
