Alright so I am currently running a -12 offset wheel with my 35s but have new wheels shipping soon that are -38. I've been told that I'll need to either hammer some of my firewall in or try and tub some of it. Who here is running -38 offset and 35s, and did you have to hammer your firewall or tub it? I've heard its mainly so you don't rub when fully tucked up front. Any information helps and if you got pics drop them below TYIA!!

That’s about where you want to be. You shouldn’t have to hammer your tub. Just the usual CMC, fender liner trimming, pinch weld flattening and most important, a good alignment.

You won’t have to tub, but you’ll likely need to trim your fender flares for clearance

like will rub some at fill tuck but you should be fine. You will need all the good as folks mentioned, cab mount, pinch, fenders and possible hammer on the firewall but should be ok. I’m running this setup now and have done it all and only slight rub too and back when under all in extremes. 2nd gen though but similar idea. I had trimmed before I installed so never knew how bad it could have been.

Same wheel specs but on a 2nd gen. Deep cab mount chop and some BFH persuasion. I plan on tubbing a bit as I would like to lower the front a little. Currently zero rubbing at full lock/stuff.
