I'm in the market for a entry level 3D printer and looking for anyone that might have some experience with a certain brand or another.

So far i've narrowed my search down to the Monoprice Ultimate 3D Printer or the ROBO 3D Plus. Both are in the $700 range with comparable features. I think the ROBO has an auto-leveling bed whereas the Monoprice doesn't.

I plan on doing rapid prototyping for myself/others. I also have some product ideas that I could sell on a small scale using 3D printing. SO, potentially the printer could be a workhorse and reliability would be key.

However, because these are a lot of what-if scenarios i'm not comfortable at this time shelling out $2k+ for a professional grade printer.

    Thoughts?

    I'm happy!
    3d Printing for $250-$280.
First 2 days of printing and never 3d printed before... better results each time I print:

there is nothing wrong with starting small but accuracy and durability come with cost. Maybe consider checking out a local makerspace and using theres until you know more about them, just google your area plus makerspace im sure there are several. That said I have a Flashforge creator pro and a Taz 6 and both of them are good machines although the taz is out of your budget.
