Well and good, however with that much HP comes at the expensive of reliability.. The TRD SC is proven! Is the URD? Which will be better on the truck when it comes to resale value? My bet is the TRD... Sorry rant over.

Yea I mean there are waaaaaay more people running TRD than URD. Plus, you get a warranty...I don't know a out URD but I'm guessing if you blow your engine up using URD you get to buy a new engine. If you're in it for crazy high HP and speed, you bought the wrong damn engine. IIRC These engines can start having issues at 400+ HP which is right around where URD will put you at...

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    Hendrick..

buy the s/c online. install yourself. take it to hendrick and have them flash the computer.

Also you could make it happen without the fit kit.

the important stuff comes in the box "main assembly"

the "fit kit" is the LTR, hood support bracket, intercooler power harness and some little pieces you could pick up from the store. I was pretty angry when i saw what was 500 bucks haha.

Also each dealer could order UP TO 5 units until june 30th, now after that they can order as much as they want until its all gone.

maitenance parts will be available for 10 years or so.

I strongly suspect LCE would make a deal to sell them in the future.

I do agree the TRD is better as far as warranty goes. But I just think the price per HP gained isn't worth it. I have a URD MAF calibrator with URD Y Pipe & URD Intake, maybe 30 hp for $700? 30 HP away from a TRD S/C..

Then don't! Nobody is forcing you to buy a Supercharger. If you don't think its worth the money, then don't spend the money. Some people do think its worth it. So i can spend whatever money I want and have over 300hp to the wheels, while you can spend about a grand and get what Toyota reports it as.

Also, guess what, F/I mods usually tend to give you more HP than NA mods....so that 30 hp would probably be 40+ HP if you had an S/C

Meh, I looked into the Steigmeister port and polish, to me it's just not worth close to a grand for less than 10 hp. I know we're talking about the same thing right now, but for "up to a 10% hp improvement" which only reflects the hp the SC provides, not overall HP, just not worth it to me. I'll still be over 300 hp to the wheels with SC,headers,y pipe, exhaust, intake, and 2.8 pulley.

Oh I wasn't talking about the SC  I was talking about turbos  If it was SC I wouldn't even bother with port and polish the heads. I'd focus on a stand alone computer, upgrade the pulley, add more fuel, and tune, tune, tune.
