For those without a need for a towing break module and battery "charging" the towed Camper.
    OEM circuits:

    Terminals needed:

    upload_2020-2-3_2-17-10.jpg
The rest is up for grabs, there are so many ways to tap the T12.
I suggest a $35.00 T-harness, purchase, de-pin and use the modified towing break and battery charger circuits.

    Or

EB4 is the connector with wires of the Battery Charger and the Towing Break Output (power) from the relays to the rear Towing Connector (T12)
For those that do not need a towing brake module, a Y harness can be assembled to provide power to a fuse block & relay module in the engine bay area.

    FOR 2nd Gen's:

    Terminals are same:

    Bumper connector info:

Keep the fuses same. You'll have 2 sources of 30 Amps each for 60 amps. One hot (jumper on connector T7's mate pins #1 & #2 (10 awg) and the other IGN. (Battery Charger Circuit) or both IGN on/off.

If you have to ask..then you don't need to.
Have you seen electrical panel systems in the bed inside the cubbies? Have you added rear lights running new wire from the battery all the way to rear? Just name a few.
Do you use a towing brake module?
Do you charge a towed mobile home's battery?

    Do you have a 3rd Gen?:burp:

    yes,
    yes
    yes
    god not lol

but i also wouldn't use this circuit for much, most times when adding a panel in the rear i would want more power and run at least a 4ga wire (my last truck i ran 00) along with a second battery.

Well, in your stated situation, if you had a 3rd Gen and needed MORE power, you'd keep the 40 amp fuses on each circuit, thus having 2 sources for 80 amps...more than enough for anything at the rear. Apart from a rear winch...

    Another harness...

Assembling a T or Y harness for the little to no use Battery Charger Circuit.

    upload_2020-2-7_16-25-33.jpg

Using the Battery Charger and the Towing Brake circuits. If a high amp relay with a switch, is placed between tap and fuse block, OEM circuit can return to use.

Stumbled across this thread today. This is my add-on power distribution panel in the LS cubby of the Taco.

Using an un-terminated 5th Wheel T harness for a no cut to vehicle harness. Adding the panel is a "snap". The Tail Mod is to have the full C illuminated. Adding a Reverse lamp is also simplified...
