I had the 4' but at 80 mph the stick would be at a 45* and didn't look right. Under the passenger seat there is plug you can pull the cable through.

LOL. I'm sure it'll look straight through the rear view mirror. :) Thanks, I will look under the seat.

Anyone using the cigarette adapter for power? Also how did you run the cable from the center console to the bed? Pictures are worth a thousand words.

Hey guys, I searched high and low and was not able to find a real clear picture or explanation as to how to route the coax cable from the outside into the cab. I eventually figured it out so I made this diagram to help. Hope this helps.

Cobra 75, 4' Firestik, CBI ditch light bracket, Fire Ring cable. My only knock is that the antenna doesn't sit straight. I also need to ground the Fire Ring cable again once the weather warms up. I could get nearly 7 miles line of sight, which is pretty good for a Cobra 75.

Now that is an elegant install mount for the "brain" of the unit. Nicely done. Will try to replicate in my 3rd gen which doesn't have the same switch placement, rather they are on the left of the steering wheel.
