Well I have put 130,000 on my 16 manual, and I have got my clutch hot on 6 different occasions, so bad to where the cab reaks for most of the day. So I say the stock one can take ALOT of abuse. I am by no means easy on my truck, but 0 problems so far. Love my Tacoma. Hope this helps.

Thanks for reminding me about this mod. I have some stuff ordered and coming to Point Robert's next week. I will order up the switch so I can do this mod at the same time.

Well I was just about to call bullshit, but I see you have the beloved Hilux, perhaps skipped a couple Gens. Just don’t show this to the 1st and 2nd Gen Bois

Agree with this. Had a couple of situations on the trails where I had to shimmy back and forth out of rut to get out and since the gearing for reverse is less than ideal it kicked up some smell. Knock on wood no creaky clutch or any issues yet on my 2018.

Deleted it, cost about $10 for the line & Dot 3. Clutch feels great like they said it would too.

OVTune planned for this Dec if he's still selling them

Well, completed the delete today. Hands down the best thing I have ever done to a vehicle I owned. No more lurching jerking clanking shifts.

    Thank you!

I was really hesitant to try because I didn't want to mess anything up, but I know sometimes you just have to jump in
