Mine just started yesterday. Less than 750 miles on the truck. I bought a new truck to escape the rattles of my old Jeep.

Couldn't find exactly where it was. Thanks to those that posted the location. Will stuff it with some material or try to push it back.

My glove box has developed a rattle too. I know it’s the cover since it will stop after you put your hand on it. Anybody find a fix for that?

I had a glove box rattle that was solved recently. Remove the padded trim piece above the glove box. Look on top of the now exposed glovebox. There are some brackets that can contact the top of the glovebox. Place some foam or wedges between the top of the glovebox and those plastic pieces. I noticed that my rattle stopped when I pressed down on the open glovebox door. Made sense. Good luck. Been silent now for over a month.

I should’ve taken pictures. Sorry! Try opening the glovebox while you hear the rattle and put a little pressure on the open glovebox door. If the rattle stops, it’s prob the same issue. Pull off the panel above the glovebox and access the top of the box. I think there are two or three contact points where plastic contracts the top of the glovebox. Put foam or wedges tight between top of box and the plastic. If you can make the rattle stop by putting pressure on open door and need help, feel free to reach out. While I was in there, I also felt taped and stuffed foam wherever I could. Just to be thorough.

I took mine apart over the Holiday weekend and looked everything over. I did a pretty thorough job with the tesa tape before, but I added more (should have taken pictures - sorry). So far, so good...

I fixed this on my 2018 off-road. I removed passenger A pillar and plastic around the speaker. It already had felt tape in the areas I read about being trouble spots. The tweeter was also totally locked down. So neither of those were the issue. Then I noticed that little plastic circle piece on the speaker insert rattles a little when you tap it. I taped it still with some electrical tape and now it doesn’t rattle anymore. You could probably just remove it as well, it comes out.

Been awhile now, but wondering if you made progress with your dash/glove box rattle. Hunting for one myself.

whelp.... i did manage to find it. naturally speaker cover was rattling BUT it does turn out the rattle i thought i heard in the glove box was actually my aftermarket mudflaps, one of the washes was rattling around at low and high speeds and it sounded like it was coming straight from the dash.

Has anybody had a rattle from the passenger side knee airbag panel? The one beneath the glovebox? I was able to silence it by pushing there this morning. I may just be that I'm applying pressure to the general dash/glovebox area, but wondering if anybody has tracked a rattle to that plastic cover/panel over the airbag.

The rubber band fix is still working fine, no rattles.

Since there are many threads about this, I'm posting here. (It is NOT the tin-sounding rattle that was solved on https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tapping-noise-from-passenger-dash-speaker-solved.422339/ ...) It is a deeper rumbling that sounds like it could almost be associated with the front suspension system when going over irregularities in the road. However, when I apply forward-pressing pressure on the glove box, the sound is greatly mitigated/silenced. So I'm thinking it could be the entire dashboard itself. 2021 TRD OR 4x4. Wondering if @shakerhood 's rope foam could be a solution? Thoughts? Thanks so much.
Apologies, edit, just saw @H6G 's post about this. Hopefully that does it.
