This is similar to my first extractor. I liked it better, but it's a bit more expensive.

Create and account and access the maintenance guide. Tell you exactly what they recommend at each interval.

Na. I just had the dealership do it when getting my $9.99 oil and filter change. I know you need a crow foot type adapters to go onto your torque wrench.

I know I’m a little late to the party, but when I was picking up my ‘21 in June, they specifically told me to come in at 10k miles OR 6mos , whichever came first. They even wrote a “1st Service January ‘22 or 10K miles” reminder on my paperwork..

Thanks for sharing! Full chart of JIS bolt and nut identification begins on page 243. All torque specs are listed on page 246. Super helpful reference!

Never occurred to me before. I’ve always used this but never read the can. Is it safe to use green brake cleaner to clean the 3rd gen Oil filter housing?

Why are you using brake cleaner in the oil filter housing?

I used it flush the filth out, let dry and then install new filter and and clean the exterior of spilled oil..

Not sure, but I err on the safe side and just wipe it down with a shop towel and move on, i wouldn't want any chemicals to degrade the filter or mix with oil negatively in anyway. Probably won't make a damn difference but who knows.
