Most of em are walk ups. There are maybe 15 that have some exposed scrambling but nothing technical. All can be done without ropes/climbing gear.
I'm in Denver. It's grown a lot in 10 years. Still love it but I could see moving to MT/WY/ID in 5-10 years.
Eugene seems cool. I spent a couple nights there on a road trip after I graduated college. Mainly just got drunk in the bars and slept in my car but people were cool!

I might've been in there. Don't remember. That town is a trip. We stayed in some hotel when we were skiing near there and the halls were Filled with junk and trinkets and weird shit. And the place was totally dead. Reminded me of the shining

ID is next on my list. WY also has me interested due to the lack of population  Wydaho (jackson hole) is on my list for next summer...If my piece of shit truck will get me there.
I was born in MT - Bilings is a pretty awesome place. I'd move back up that way, but cowboys are fuckin ghey, amirite?
Sleeping in your car is like a requirement in Eugene.

I lived in Denver and thereabouts from '79 to '87, and really liked being there and enjoying the mountains. Not climbing, though, backpacking. I'm sure it's changed a hellofa lot since then.
Live in MT now, it has some enticements. If I could have afforded it, would have retired in CO.

Haha yeah man...I love that town. Just south-west of there is Twin Lakes, which has some pretty creepy shithole "cabins" and overpriced-underfed breakfast motel next door.
