Pricey, but tasty. Trust me. Think the cheapest I've paid here is like $60. But of course down there is much cheaper.

Had a great day. Did the obligatory visit to Canadian Tire. Google it to understand why we consider it an icon. Blend between car parts and hardware store, perfect mix for everyone in the family. Lots of celebrations going on. It was good! We definately had a great day. Hope yours is just as good on your 4th of July.

Today, not so much fun. Me and the wife went to the casino for a little fun. They announced my vehicle and license plate over the P.A. system and asked me to go to customer service at which time they told me my truck had been hit but the driver had left a note on it, according to a witness. So we went out to the truck and no note. The guy that hit it parked somewhere else and took the note back off the truck. Off to security we went and asked them to check video surveillance. Long story short, half hour later me and 2 security officers walk up to the guy at a slot machine and confront him. They warned me not to physically harm him, so we tongue lashed him to death. Got his info and now the hassle of insurance.

He had driven past my parked truck in the lot, reversed, and backed into it in his Honda Civic. Results are broken taillight, driver's side bumper, and a few scratches. Security found his car, passenger side bumper all squished in. Jerk!

I should have walked out and called the cops. Casino had all his info and gave me the choice. Hit and a Run charges, or just get the info from him. Cops wouldn't do much I'm sure, so just get the info and call insurance. Casino security was great all the way through the ordeal. From video of the hit, all the way through to tracking him playing a machine.

Sux dood...imagine, buddy thought there was 0 surveillance in and around a casino *shrugs*

Shoulda gone balls to the wall and hit and run...cops might not do much but it will reflect on the insurance outcome...best of luck!

Insurance company will know from me and casino! Only one insurance company in the entire province, it is gov't owned. Everybody has to purchase their insurance from them. You can only buy collision insurance through someone else.

Sorry bro, but at least you caught up with the guy. You did the right thing. I know the cops around here wont get involved in something like that because its considered a private parking lot.(I found this out the hard way). Hopefully it all goes well with the repairs.

Glad you found him and he had insurance. Odds they would have insurance around here are probably 60%. And forget the cops investigating an accident on private property. We are lucky if they show up to an accident on a public street.

Ain't that the truth. I didn't think the cops would do much, if anything.
No insurance, no license plates here. Anyway, confronting him in the middle of a casino was better. :D

Sorry to hear what that Honda did to your Taco Greg . The nerve of that guy to leave a note then bail out , fkn arsehole he is!
Glad to hear the casino got it all on film so he won't get away with it and you did good by just giving him a verbal lashing opposed to getting physical and bashing his head into the slot machine.
Hope all goes smoothly for you with the insurance claim.

Nice. I've deployed with Australians several times. This is what I know about their drinking: you're sending them an amateur - they'll be sending back a pro.

She went there 2 years ago and spent a year with those drunks. I'd call her a semi-pro when she came back. No way in hell can she match me drink for drink. But now you've got me scared. Two more years in training may be enough.
