I tried to explain DNT to the gf back in the day. No humor. So I woke her up at 2 am to re explain it. Still no dice. I will try again tonight, to celebrate the resurgence.

    My rule of thumb is:

If I throw it against the ceiling and it sticks, it’s good to eat.

I've seen some pretty impressive boogers hanging from the ceiling back in my skool days. I'll knot follow that strategy

I know some French, but that damn Canadian French is tough to understand. It's like Cajun English (which is also tainted with new world French.

Hmmm. I'm seeing a connection here. It's them gol-dang-ol French trappers, I tell you what

It's like yur Rip Van Winkle or something, going to sleep after the release of the turd gen and waking up 3 years later. We'll have to catch you up.

Although Tacoma sales have been strong, no TW members actually buy them. Mostly 4Runners, Tundras, and a smattering of Power Wagons, Subarus, and Rangers. And of course if you're really cool, an imported deezul Hilux, that the EPA limits you to driving 10 hours per year.

Actually, 4Runner threads now outnumber Tacoma threads. They have manual transfer cases, get better mileage, can "climb rocks" better and even can haul more mulch. Oh, and they fly, I think. Or maybe just hover.

You missed the introductions of the new Ridgeline, Ranger, and Gladiator, which are all expected to outsell the POS Turd Gen with a car motor (Consumer Reports description, not mine) by 10 to 1.

MT is still way Superior to AT because the shifting mechanism serves as a "millennial anti theft device" and we of course are reminded of this in no fewer than three threads per week.

New members still do not actually drive the Tacoma before buying, but all of them do have the PRO grills installed now before bringing them home.

Oh, and we've all become vegans.

I'm sure I missed some things but I think that's about it. Welcome back Rip.
