I have a 2020 sr5 and was curious if the trucks have plugs to just get a oem heated seats and screen like the pros. Or if you need completely new seats. Not looking for heated pads that plug into cigarette lighter.

I have clazzio leather seat cover and they have heated seat kits with oem switch for less than $200. I plan to add this kit to my seat cover

Heated seats are definitely used in the south too. Unless you live in southern part of Florida, there will be days during which the temperature drops to 40s, heated seats are welcomed at that temperature.

I wish Tacomas had ventilated seats too. The top trim of Hyundai Santa Cruz has ventilated seats and I bet they cost less than a Tacoma.

LOL yes we have bad winter here :rain: j/k. When we go to the mountains for skiing, temp can drop to 0 sometimes. Heated seat would be nice, we used to have it in our minivan.

If you have patience are mechanically and electrically inclined you can get a kit from Amazon and install them yourself. You’ll need to remove the seats, remove the upholstery and some of the console. Some of the switches give an OEM look too. Check this thread out:
