Yes the TRD aluminum skid has a jack point on it.

I'm surprised RCI can't hold the front

I don’t want to hijack this thread but I’m missing one of these plastic pieces does anyone know the part number?

    I’m skeptical about your honesty.

That part has a long history of mystery. I’m not sure it has part number let alone a name. Many mystics have shared their visions of its purpose.

Personally. as much as a clutz I am, I still have mine. If I had lost one, I would not drown myself in liquor.

I suspect they are designed to stop crud getting into the frame drain, which is a galant goal in life.

Sorry, I cannot help you much with the part number, the name, or the purpose.

    Thanks for the reply!

I think one of mine was left off during assembly I have never been off road and do all my own maintenance and just happened to notice it missing one day when I was under the truck.

I’ve jacked my truck up at that point a few times and that’s mostly why I know that plastic part exists.

The TRD Skid is designed to use this center jack point. It typically sits just below the level of the support point. When you go to jack-up, it deflects engaging the support point. It does have a marking so you know where to place the jack. - It works pretty seamlessly.

I glued a piece of HDPE onto my RCI aluminum skid plate to utilize the front jack point. The plastic fills the gap between the skid plate and jacking point so the plate won't bend if you lift on it.

Plug, Hole, part # 90950-01A24. IIRC there were (3) to a bag and cost around $6. The design is such that I doubt you will remove one without breaking it. Once in the hole you can't depress the tabs (indicated by the arrows) so it's not coming out... I had to replace one when the person doing the yearly inspection lifted on it smashing it good.

Now I place a florescent green zip tie through it for inspections. No lifting on the zip tie please...

Just gotta ask, but why care? These are nothing but some part for the final assembly process.

One of mine broke either from wheeling or jacking near it. I punched the other one out just to even things up. Haha!

They are to prevent water from getting into the frame.

    Good info to have.

I remember working around those plastic "doohickies" when I installed my Talon CAT plate. I had to maneuver the winglets to avoid damage.
